Sequences Art Festival will be held for the sixth time in Reykjavik April 5-14 2013. Dedicated to time-based art––especially video, sound and performances––the event has been a grassroots initiative and established itself in the city’s art scene. Some changes have been made in the upcoming sixth edition in order to allow Sequences to grow. The festival will be held every two years instead of annually and there will be no open-call process. However, as part of Sequences VI, an Off-Venue Program will be introduced where artists and venues can present their exhibitions and events.
Please contact sequences@sequences.is no later than March 4th 2013 and submit your time based art project taking place in Reykjavik during April 5-14 2013. Please state title, artist(s), time and place accompanied by an image and it will appear online and in the Sequences handout.
