Thursday on and off venue on Sequences


A talk by Ólafur Gíslason on honorary artist Gretar Reynisson in Arion bank, Borgartún, at 12:30. The talk is in Icelandic.


Yes, Angel by Aleesa Cohene opens Thursday April 11th at 18:00 at the Reykjavík Museum of Photography, Tryggvagata 15, 6th floor.



Off Venue:


At 17:00 it is perfect to head out first to the opening of No-Signal, a video exhibition by Katrín Agnes Klar, Klængur Gunnarsson, Björk Viggósdóttir and Lukas Kindermann at Norðurpóllinn theater, Sefgarðar 3, Seltjarnarnes.


Right after Aleesa Cohene’s opening, at 20:00, Charlotte Laubard has a lecture next door at the Reykjavik Art Museum – Hafnarhús. The leture, The Contemporary Art Museum in the 21st Century, is part of the TALK series, arranged by the Iceland Academy of the Arts, Reykjavík Art Museum and the Icelandic Art Center.


The opening of the Nordic Film Festival at the Nordic house, Sturlugata 5, is at 19:30, followed by a screening of Kapringen at 20:00.
