Tova Mozard (SE)

Through video and photography, Mozard explores the thin line between reality and make-believe. She focuses on the fringes of conventional life, eccentric characters and surreal, constructed spaces that blur the line between truth and fiction. Her work reveals the nature of the relationship between the camera, the protagonist and the director. The film screened here shows the artist, her mother and her grandmother undergoing a session with a therapist during which they discuss a family tragedy, played out on a theatre stage to an absent audience.
