Wilson’s work is significant in determining the way in which we understand and experience feminist and socially engaged art practices. Spanning forty years, her career is not only made distinctive by works that explore female identity and subjectivity. Her work brings together a video from the seventies and a recent photograph, in a rude awakening to time passing by.
